MATERIALS
Pencil
White posterboard
Scissors
Ruler
Masking tape
Craft glue
Tissue paper
Shoebox or other small box
Wrapped candy (optional)
Paper-shredding scissors (optional)
1.  For a shoebox, skip to step 3. For a bunny, chick or egg, photocopy template, enlarging it as directed. Trace it twice onto posterboard and cut out shapes. 
2.  Cut a 1½"-wide strip from long end of posterboard. Using masking tape, attach posterboard strip to edge of one shape (forming a rim), bending or folding strip as needed to follow shape. Trim excess paper, or cut and attach another strip if necessary to complete rim. Tape second shape to top of rim. 
3. Coat top shape lightly with glue, and cover with tissue paper. (For shoebox, cover lid separately; fill box with candy, if desired.) Trim excess paper; let dry. Repeat for bottom and sides.
4.  Make fringe (see illustration, slides 3 and 4) and attach as directed in illustration at right until animal or box is completely covered.
